Partner terms
These terms are the agreement between us and a firm or accountant whose card is listed on buhalteriugidas.lt. They explain how we verify firms, what we publish, how we rank cards, pass on requests, review content and resolve disputes.
In force from 28 October 2026
1. General provisions
- 1.1.These terms are an agreement between the operator of the buhalteriugidas.lt directory (we, us) and a firm registered in it (you). Our details are on the Contact page.
- 1.2.In these terms, a “firm” is a legal person providing accounting services or an individual accountant. A “client” is a person or business sending a request through the directory. Your “card” is your entry in the directory's lists; your “profile” is your full page in the directory.
- 1.3.You accept these terms when you register, by ticking that you agree before you submit your card. We record which version you accepted and when.
- 1.4.The directory is free for firms. If we ever offer paid tools, we will tell you in advance as set out under “Changes to these terms”, and they will not apply to you without your separate consent. We do not sell places in the list.
- 1.5.You use the directory for your business or profession, so consumer protection rules do not apply to this agreement.
- 1.6.These terms are published in Lithuanian and English. If the two differ, the Lithuanian text prevails.
2. Registration and verification
- 2.1.Companies providing accounting services in Lithuania and individual accountants may register. We reject registrations from providers of other services.
- 2.2.A firm may have only one card in the directory. One sign-in e-mail address is linked to one firm only.
- 2.3.When you register and afterwards, give correct and complete details and update them when they change.
- 2.4.We check a company's code, name, legal form and status against the latest open data of the Centre of Registers. We keep checking the status as new register data arrives.
- 2.5.To make sure the firm itself runs the card, we check your e-mail address. If it is on the firm's own domain, we send a code to it. If you use a free e-mail address, we ask for a link to a public page that names this address as the firm's. Individual accountants are verified the same way. A person reviews every registration. We never phone you and never ask you to phone us.
- 2.6.Once we have checked your card, we publish it, return it to you for changes or reject the registration. Whenever we return or reject, we give the reason.
- 2.7.The “Verified firm” label means only that we have checked your identity and register status and that you run the card. It does not mean we assess or vouch for the quality or prices of your services, and you may not present it to clients as if it did.
- 2.8.You sign in to your account with a one-time code sent to your sign-in e-mail address. Keep access to that mailbox safe: whatever is done after signing in with your address counts as done by you.
3. Card and profile
- 3.1.We publish your card and profile: your name or brand, legal name, company code, town, services, client types, software, languages, offer, “from” price, descriptions, logo, cover image, verification date, and the public e-mail address, phone number and website you give. Your profile shows those contacts in full.
- 3.2.You are responsible for the information on your card and profile. It must be correct and not misleading, and it must not break the law or anyone else's rights.
- 3.3.You set your own prices and offers. You pick your offer from a fixed list and describe its conditions on your profile, and you must honour them. Your card shows the line “The firm sets its own price and offer.”
- 3.4.You allow us, free of charge, to show your texts, logo and images in the directory while your card is listed, and to adapt them technically (for example to crop or resize them). You confirm that you have the right to use them and to give us this permission.
- 3.5.You can hide your card in your account at any time: until you switch it back on, it is not shown in the directory and receives no requests.
4. Content rules
- 4.1.Your short description (up to 60 characters) describes your firm. It may not contain prices, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, links, superlatives (such as “best”, “cheapest”, “No. 1”), words in capitals (abbreviations are fine) or emoji.
- 4.2.A brand name is optional (up to 40 characters). Use only a name you yourself trade under. It may not use another person's name, business name or brand, the name of this site, or words that look like a quality mark (“verified”, “recommended”). It may not contain a legal form, contacts, prices, superlatives, words in capitals (abbreviations are fine) or emoji, and it is written in Latin letters. We review your brand name and may refuse it, or withdraw it later, if it breaks these terms or anyone else's rights.
- 4.3.Your cover image may not contain text, contacts or prices, and your logo nothing but your name or brand. Both images must be of good quality and suit the card.
- 4.4.Your “About” text and your offer's conditions may not contain contacts or links – they have fields of their own.
- 4.5.None of your content may contain illegal or misleading information, material that infringes anyone else's rights (such as trade marks, copyright or personal data), or claims you cannot back up (for example about reply times, results or being the best).
5. How we review content
- 5.1.When you save a text, automated checks test it against the content rules: its length, and whether it contains contacts, links, prices, words in capitals, emoji or invisible characters. A text that breaks the rules is not saved, and the form shows what to fix. Automated checks also test the format and size of images.
- 5.2.A person reviews your short description, brand name, logo and cover image before they go live – when you register and after every change. While a change waits for review, the directory shows the previous version. If we reject a change, the previous version stays, and we give the reason in your account and by e-mail. You can remove a brand name at once, without review.
- 5.3.Your “About” text, your offer's conditions and other profile fields go live at once after the automated checks. A person checks them when someone reports them or when we notice a possible breach.
- 5.4.We check firms' status against the Centre of Registers data automatically. If a company is being liquidated or has been deregistered, or its code has been missing from the register data twice in a row, its card is hidden automatically and we send an e-mail with the reason. This decision is taken by an automated tool; if you challenge it, a person reviews it. The rule never hides an individual accountant's card.
- 5.5.Anyone can report content on your card or profile that they believe is inaccurate or illegal. A person handles every report. If we restrict your content because of a report, we tell you as set out under “Restrictions, hiding and removing a card”.
- 5.6.Apart from the register rule, decisions to reject a change, return a card for changes, hide it or remove it are taken by a person, not by automated tools. When the notice period set out in our e-mail ends, the card is removed automatically: a person took the decision to end the agreement, and the system only carries it out.
6. Ranking
- 6.1.The directory lists only the cards of verified firms with a complete profile, unless the firm has hidden its card.
- 6.2.The main ranking parameter is when the card was last refreshed: recently refreshed cards come first. You can refresh your card by pressing “Refresh card” in your account, at most once every 24 hours. A card not refreshed for 30 days moves to the end of the list. Example cards come after every firm's card.
- 6.3.We chose this parameter because it is the same for every firm and free: it puts first the firms that look after their card, not those that pay or registered earlier. We do not rank on quality, prices or reviews, because we cannot check them reliably.
- 6.4.A client can narrow the list with the search and filters, for example by town, service or language. They only pick the matching firms; the order stays the same. A firm's size, years in business or how fast it answers requests do not affect the order.
- 6.5.No one can buy a place in the list. No payment or arrangement with us affects the order. We do not show firms their position number.
- 6.6.The operator of the site and companies connected with it are not listed and receive no requests. So no listed firm gets more favourable treatment because of its ties with us.
- 6.7.When a client chooses “send to all matching”, the request goes to the first 5 verified firms that match the service, legal form and town they gave (and, on an English page, speak English), in the same order as in the catalogue. Example cards never receive these requests.
- 6.8.The ranking rules are also explained in plain words on How we rank.
7. Requests and clients' data
- 7.1.For every request we send you an e-mail with the request details and the client's message, but without the client's name and contacts. You see those in your account by pressing “Show contacts”. We record when you open them.
- 7.2.The links in that e-mail are single-use and valid for 7 days. A link signs you in only if the e-mail went to your sign-in address. Do not forward these e-mails to anyone.
- 7.3.You may use a client's name and contacts only to answer their request and make an offer. Without the client's consent you may not use them for marketing, pass them on or add them to mailing lists.
- 7.4.Once you open a client's contacts, you become an independent controller of their personal data. Handle them under the General Data Protection Regulation: give the client the information required by Article 14 of that Regulation no later than when you first contact them, and keep their data no longer than you need it.
- 7.5.You can mark a request “Not a fit” and give a reason. A request you neither open nor mark within 2 working days counts as not reviewed. At present we only record this: we do not pause your card or change its position.
- 7.6.We keep requests in your account for 12 months. If a client asks us to delete their request, we delete it and tell you by e-mail. Then delete your own copy of the client's data too, unless the law requires you to keep it or you have another legal basis.
- 7.7.We charge no fee or commission for requests or clients.
8. Data you have access to
- 8.1.In your account you see your card and profile data, the requests you received (a client's contacts once you open them), our decisions about your card, and your statistics: impressions, profile views, contact clicks and requests over the last 30 days.
- 8.2.We see all the data you provide, the status of your requests (opened, not for us, not reviewed), your statistics and your moderation history. We use them to run, improve and protect the directory. We do not sell them or pass them to other firms.
- 8.3.Other firms do not see your requests or statistics, and you do not see theirs.
- 8.4.When the agreement ends, we delete your data as described in the Privacy notice: a removed firm's data after 12 months, a rejected registration after 6 months. Until then we keep it to handle complaints and to defend legal claims.
9. Restrictions, hiding and removing a card
- 9.1.If your card, profile or conduct breaks these terms or the law, we may: reject a change (the previous version stays); return your card for changes; hide your card (it is not shown in the directory and receives no requests); remove your card and end the agreement.
- 9.2.We take these measures when: content breaks the content rules; the firm does not provide accounting services; we cannot confirm that the firm itself runs the card; the same firm already has a card; the company is being liquidated or has been deregistered, or its code has been missing from the register data twice in a row; clients' data are used in breach of these terms; these terms or the law are otherwise broken.
- 9.3.We choose the measure according to the nature and seriousness of the breach. We first ask you to fix the content, and we remove a card only when milder measures are not enough.
- 9.4.Whenever we take a measure, we e-mail your sign-in address and show the reason in your account no later than when the measure takes effect. We state: what measure we take and for how long; the facts and circumstances we rely on; whether we acted on a report or on our own initiative; whether we used automated tools; which clause of these terms you broke; and how you can challenge the decision.
- 9.5.We give at least 30 days' notice before we remove a card and end the agreement. During that time your card is hidden and we send you an e-mail with the reason. If within those 30 days you remedy the breach or show that there was none, we withdraw the decision. If not, we remove the card after 30 days and the agreement ends.
- 9.6.We remove a card without 30 days' notice only when the law or a public authority requires it, when the Centre of Registers data show the company is being liquidated or has been deregistered, or its code has been missing from the register data twice in a row, when you have repeatedly broken these terms, or when you ask us to. Even then we give the reason by e-mail.
- 9.7.Once your card is removed, you lose access to the firm's account and receive no new requests.
- 9.8.You can end the agreement at any time by writing to partneriai@
buhalteriugidas.lt from your sign-in address. We remove your card without delay. If you only want to stop receiving requests for a while, hide your card in your account.
10. Complaints and disputes
- 10.1.If you disagree with a decision of ours or have another complaint about the directory, write to partneriai@
buhalteriugidas.lt within 6 months of the decision. Say what you disagree with and why, and attach any evidence (for example a fresh Centre of Registers extract). - 10.2.A person handles your complaint free of charge. We answer within 10 working days and give our reasons. If the decision was wrong, we reverse it without delay.
- 10.3.We may also try to settle a dispute amicably through mediation under the Law on Mediation of the Republic of Lithuania; we choose the mediator together.
- 10.4.If a dispute cannot be settled amicably, it is decided by the courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
- 10.5.About our decisions on your content you can also complain to the Communications Regulatory Authority (rrt.lt), Lithuania's Digital Services Coordinator.
11. Changes to these terms
- 11.1.We tell you about changes to these terms by e-mail to your sign-in address at least 15 days before they take effect. The e-mail says what changes and from when, and links to the new version.
- 11.2.If the changes would require you to make significant technical or commercial adjustments to your card or business, we give you more notice – as much as you need to prepare.
- 11.3.If you do not accept the changes, you can end the agreement by writing to partneriai@
buhalteriugidas.lt no later than the day before they take effect. From that day on, your account will ask you to accept the new version. - 11.4.We may change the terms without 15 days' notice only when the law or a public authority requires it, or when we must urgently protect the directory, clients or firms from fraud, malware, spam or other security threats.
12. Liability
- 12.1.We provide the directory as it is. We do not promise that you will receive requests or win clients.
- 12.2.We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost income or lost clients, except where the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
- 12.3.You are responsible for your content, for how you use clients' data and for your services to clients. If a third party brings a claim against us because of your content or conduct, you compensate us for the resulting loss.
13. Final provisions
- 13.1.These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.
- 13.2.We send you notices by e-mail to your sign-in address and show them in your account. Write to us at partneriai@
